Karen

Experts by Experience steering group member

I did not know anyone with MS at the time of my MS diagnosis and my knowledge of MS within the Black community was non-existent. I have been involved with the Experts by Experience steering group since it started. My role is to help our group represent the diversity of our MS community in real terms.

Karine and Sarah

Newly Diagnosed Service Co-production group, Scotland

We decided to turn Karine's diagnosis into something positive. Getting involved in the newly diagnosed service co-production group was a way of giving something back to help others. Being enabled to do that was really rewarding. It makes you feel that you are having an impact, even if it only helps one person.

Lynne

Campaigner, Northern Ireland

I live with multiple sclerosis every single minute of every day of my life. I feel a deep frustration and sadness that we at the MS Society have to fight endlessly to have our voices heard. I intend to keep up that fight through the ‘End the Wait’ campaign and I shall campaign tirelessly, while I am able, to end the unacceptably long waiting lists in Northern Ireland.
